House rules for the association building at Schmarjestraße 14, 14169 Berlin

§ 1 Principles

  1. Compliance with these house rules is crucial to ensure smooth use of the association building and to provide a pleasant environment for all members and course tutors. If you have any questions or uncertainties, please contact the board.
  2. The premises, the association building, the rooms and the furnishings of Initiative für Hochbegabung e.V. (InfHo) serve to fulfil InfHo's tasks. Use is at your own responsibility and liability, insofar as the activity is not covered by the association's liability insurance.
  3. The premises, the association building and the rooms of InfHo are located at Schmarjestraße 14, 14169 Berlin.

§ 2 Scope

The house rules apply to all persons who are on the premises and in the association building of InfHo.

§ 3 House rights

  1. The general right of use lies with the association and its members. The general assembly, as the highest body of the association, decides on use.
  2. The house rights are exercised by the board of InfHo.
  3. The tutors and members of InfHo are entitled to exercise the house rights on a representative basis. The board decides on this on a case-by-case basis.
  4. If use is transferred to third parties, the house rights are exercised by the third party, unless otherwise agreed. In doing so, they must comply with InfHo's house rules. The exercise of the house rights by the board (2) and the association's tutors and members (3) takes precedence in every case over the decisions and measures taken by third parties.

§ 4 Booking and reservation

  1. All course tutors and third parties must adhere to the agreed times and course schedules.
  2. Reservations and course schedules are managed via the online calendar.
  3. Every course tutor or third party must register their courses or events in advance via the online calendar. Outside of this registration, the association building and premises are to be kept locked.
  4. Courses and events may take place at the agreed times. Courses usually take place between 10:00 and 17:00.
  5. A maximum of six (as a number: 6) courses may take place at the same time, in order to avoid overloading the association building and to use the available resources efficiently.
  6. For courses and events lasting longer than 15 minutes, the tutors or third parties must sign the usage list at the entrance door. The information to be entered can be found in the list.
  7. The board decides on use on a case-by-case basis.

§ 5 Key policy

The keys to the association building may only be handed over to authorised persons upon completion of a handover protocol and with the board's approval. They must be returned after the end of the activity or the agreed period of use.

§ 6 Rules of use

  1. The highest principle is mutual consideration for other users of the association building. The premises, building and rooms must always be treated as intended and with care and used as sparingly as possible in terms of resources and materials.
  2. The regulations on occupational and environmental protection must be complied with. Damage and other incidents must be reported to the board without delay. This also applies to observed damage in the building's outdoor facilities. The noise level should be appropriate so as not to disturb other courses. When connecting electrical devices, care must be taken not to overload the power grid.
  3. Emergency exits and escape routes must not be blocked. Doors must be locked when leaving rooms. When use of the rooms ends, the windows must be closed and the lights and the devices and machines in operation switched off, with the exception of those in continuous operation.
  4. The heating is to be regulated via the existing radiators. When leaving the course rooms, all radiators that were turned up must be turned back down to level 1.
  5. Movable property of InfHo (e.g. laptops, board games, rulebooks) is, as far as possible, to be locked away or otherwise secured after the end of the course.
  6. All course tutors and participants must arrive punctually at the association building at their booked times. Courses should begin and end on schedule in order to avoid overlaps.
  7. Course tutors and participants are responsible for tidying and cleaning their course room after use. The rooms must be left in the condition in which they were found.
  8. Waste of all kinds may only be disposed of in the waste containers set up for this purpose. Where waste containers for different types of waste are available, the waste must be disposed of separated by type.

§ 7 Actions requiring consent

  1. All uses by third parties require the prior written consent of the board. Furthermore, journalistic and commercial photography and filming on the premises, in the association building and of InfHo events are only permitted with the prior written consent of the board and a contractual arrangement.
  2. The removal of equipment and furnishings from the association building and the premises of InfHo requires the prior consent of the board.

§ 8 Prohibited actions

  1. All actions that are likely to endanger one's own or public health, safety and order are prohibited.
  2. Smoking or consuming tobacco and other substances is strictly prohibited in the association building.
  3. The consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants is expressly prohibited on the entire premises. Exceptions to this, in particular for special events, require the prior consent of the board.

§ 9 Enforcement of the house rules

  1. The tutors are authorised to take the measures necessary to maintain health, safety and order. This authority extends in particular to ordering a person to leave the premises and the early termination of events.
  2. The imposition of a house ban can only be made by the board.
  3. In the event of violations of the house rules, the board can withdraw the right of use and order further measures and sanctions.

§ 10 Entry into force

These house rules enter into force following a board resolution on the day of their publication on the website infho.eu.
